Meet the Staff

  • Mike and Jen

    Rev. Mike Godzwa

    DIRECTOR
    mike@rvaxa.com

Mike and Jen have more than 40 years of campus ministry experience between them. They love working together and hanging out with their 3 boys — Sam, Levi & Nate. He also loves running and a good cup of coffee. Mike is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry in Discipleship at Biola University.

  • Rev. Jen Godzwa

    POTOMAC DISTRICT DIRECTOR
    jen@rvaxa.com

Jen has worked with RVAXA for the past 10 years. She has spent this time mentoring small group leaders and reaching out to international students. She has also become certified as a leadership coach and uses those skills to help other Chi Alpha missionaries with support raising. In her spare time she likes to prep meals for her family, go to the gym, and read.

  • Marcus

    Rev. Marcus Floyd

    DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
    marcus@rvaxa.com

Born and raised in Chesterfield County, Virginia, Marcus graduated from VCU with a degree in kinesiology, with a minor in psychology. In his spare time, Marcus enjoys visiting museums, going on runs, watching sports, and having rich conversations over a cup of tea. Marcus loves Jesus and has a passion for every person he meets to experience His love.

  • Ashley

    Rev. Ashley Granados- Chavez

    PASTORAL STAFF
    ashley@rvaxa.com

Ashley graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey with a BS in public health and certification in health disparities. Her love for the urban community and passion for campus ministry led her here to Richmond! She loves hanging out with her husband Luis, making matcha lattes, and walks around the city.

  • Elizabeth Reynes

    PASTORAL STAFF
    elizabeth@rvaxa.com

Elizabeth grew up in South Jersey (#GoBirds) and studied Mechanical Engineering at Rutgers University. Jesus changed her life in college, so she loves being part of that journey with others. She was on staff with Chi Alpha in New Jersey and Colorado before joining RVAXA (don’t ask her to choose between the beach or the mountains because she loves both). Her favorite hobby is collecting hobbies, some of which include pickleball, hiking, camping, thrifting, reading, and watching F1—the list goes on and on.
